Key Ingredients and their action:
White Willow Bark:
The bark of the White Willow contains the active ingredient Salicoside, which is the pre-synthesized basis of Salicylic Acid (aspirin). In its natural state, Salicoside does not cause stomach upset and bleeding, which are often associated with aspirin. White Willow bark is effective on rheumatic pain, thermoregulation and vasodilation.
The ancient Greek civilization used Tanacetum Parthenium (Feverfew) to help relieve menstrual cramps. The medicinal effects of Feverfew are well known by medical investigators. It has been discovered that this herb brings soothing comfort to migraine headaches and overall systemic pain.
DL-Phenylalanine increases the body’s natural pain relievers, enkephalins and endorphins. Research indicates that the effectiveness of DLPA is heightened when administered in conjunction with Salicoside, as found in White Willow Bark. DLPA is a powerful analgesic. It is non-addictive and yields no adverse side effects. This amino acid contains strong anti-depressant properties and is an effective pain control.
MSM (methyl sulfonyl methane):
MSM is a biological form of sulfur. Every cell in your body requires sulfur, for sulfur has hundreds of functions in your body. It helps hold connective tissue together – skin, cartilage, tendons, ligaments and muscle. It is important to note that collagen cannot be made without sulfur.
MSM is another natural substance promising substantial benefits, such as relief from pain, inflammation and allergies. This makes MSM ideal for supplementing rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, and there are no known toxic levels or side effects
